May 5, 2006 we adopted an adorable little 6 week old Border Collie/Aussie rescue puppy. Two weeks later he caught his first disc. Fast forward a year and a half and Beau was competing on the disc dog field, though we had no idea what we were doing! He has been a challenge for sure, but it was worth everything we went thru. Beau has led us on travels across the Southeastern United States--we've competed in World Championship level competitions, we've made friends from around the world and had endless adventures. All because of one special dog, that knew I needed him as much as he needed me. Thanks to him, we are active in Border Collie Rescue, with Phoenix Rising Border Collie Rescue. We support the Oconee County (SC) Humane Society on many fund-raising events thru the year, by donating a portion of the sales of Beau's Bandanas.
On March 29, 2021, our journey on this earth with Beau ended, but he lives on in our hearts and through every bandana that I make. There's so many more memories to share, but right now--my heart still hurts.
